VICTORY GIRLS 1911
Auto-Ordnance is now shipping the special edition
World War II themed “Victory Girls” 1911, designed
to honour the women whose strength drove industry
at home in support of our boys ghting overseas.
Beginning with a base 1911A1 GI Model in .45ACP,
it has the standard 5in barrel, seven round magazine,
and US property logo wood grips. e Victory
Girls model is then customized with deep cut laser
engraving of a pin-up girl on the right side, and an
updated “Rosie the Riveter” on the left. It also features
the USAAC Star Roundel on both sides of the frame.
e pistol is then given a worn look with a two colour
Cerakote nish of Armor Black and Gunmetal Grey.

As part of Auto-Ordnance’s ongoing series of custom
1911s paying tribute to the men and women who
supported America’s drive towards victory in World
War II, it is proud to introduce the “Fly Girls”1911.
is custom pistol honours the Women Airforce
Service Pilots (WASPs) who played a vital role in
the war e ort. Over 1000 women served as pilots
during WWII, taking on vital roles operating aircraft
in non-combat positions so their male counterparts
could directly engage the enemy. ese women aviators
were pioneers in the profession, facing all of the risks
and challenges shared by pilots of the time period. By
war’s end, 38 had given their lives in service to their
country. Auto-Ordnance says that it is proud to honour
the dedication and sacri ce of the WASPs with this
beautiful engraved and nished custom 1911 pistol.

commemorative series is the “Squadron” model.
is pistol features custom graphics reminiscent of
those painted on ghter aircraft during the war. e
muzzle displays “shark mouth” nose art often seen on
American ghter planes like the P-40 Warhawk. e
Army Air Corps AN-I-9b insignia is on either side,
and a rivet pattern engraved over the gun. e nish
is a highly durable, worn black and gray cerakote. e
overall appearance makes for a pistol that looks like a
WWII ghter plane getting ready to race into the skies
hunting bandits! Auto-Ordnance is proud to o er this
latest custom 1911 in honour of the pilots who ew in
defence of world peace during WWII.
