Magnum Research is
o ering the 429 DE
Mark XIX pistol, along
with barrels and ammunition,
for a full product line up in the
recently introduced 429 DE
cartridge. e 429 DE pistol has
a stainless steel slide, a stainless
steel frame with Picatinny bottom
rail and a 6in stainless steel barrel
with integral muzzle brake and
black appointments. e pistol
ships with a .50AE seven-round
magazine and the 429 DE pistol
is now also shipping and available
for order.
e 429 DE Mark XIX spare
barrels with Picatinny style
accessory rails are available in a
variety of nishes. e barrels
are 6in and are compatible with
any MK19 USA or Israel Desert
Eagle Pistol with a wide .830in
rail on top of the barrel and uses a
50AE magazine and bolt. Barrels
will be available in the following
options: carbon steel with Black
nish; carbon steel with Burnt
Bronze Cerakote; carbon steel with
Brushed Chrome nish; carbon
steel with Polished Chrome nish
and stainless steel with integral
muzzle brake.
AMMUNITION
To round out the 429 DE product
line up, Magnum Research is
o ering 429 DE ammunition
designed to enhance the famous
and powerful Desert Eagle
platform. e 429 DE rounds are
available in boxes of 20 and can be
purchased in the following options:
240 grain soft point and 210 grain
hollow point. Magnum Research,
Inc is the sole supplier of the 429
DE ammunition at this time.
Based on the famous 50 AE
cartridge, the 429 DE is made with
Starline brass, loaded by HSM in
Montana with Sierra bullets and
distributed by Magnum Research,
Inc. is cartridge has a 25 per
cent velocity increase and 45 per
cent energy increase over a 44 Mag
(240 - 6in barrel). It has a velocity
of 1,600 FPS with 240 grain
bullets and 1,750 FPS with 210
grain bullets. e 429 DE features
30-degree shoulder headspaces and
a neck long enough to properly
hold and crimp a 240 grain bullet
without setback under recoil.
