Finnish company Ouneva Oy has acquired full
ownership of Ase Utra Oy. Ouneva Oy, as the
new owner of the company, will continue the
successful business of Ase Utra Oy in Joensuu.
Th e change of ownership has no eff ect on
either company’s status or operative actions and
contact details will remain unchanged.
Th e new chairman of the board will be
Mikko Nevalainen, also acting COB of
Ouneva Oy. Pekka Heikkinen, CFO of
Ouneva Group has been appointed to new
CEO of Ase Utra Oy. Kari Hirvonen, founder
of the company will continue his work within
the company. In addition, Lauri Kakkonen has
been appointed to sales director. Lauri is one
of the founders of gun sling company 3HGR.
Also Tuukka Jokinen will continue his work as
a sales director.

Ase Utra Oy, established in 1994, located
in Joensuu Finland, is one of the largest
manufacturers of fi rearm suppressors in the
world. Th e turnover of Ase Utra Oy in 2017
was €1.4 million and employs eleven members
of staff .
Ouneva Oy, established in 1972, located in
Tuupovaara Finland, is family-owned company
working in areas of electrical connectors,
components and sheet metal industry. Ouneva
Group companies are specialized for a wide
range of industrial subcontracting. Th e turnover
of Ouneva Group is around €90 million in
2018 and currently employs around 595 people.

Lindahl has joined the company as national
account manager. Mike is a seasoned sales
and marketing professional with experience
in servicing customers and driving
organizational revenue growth.

Quick turnaround and unique capabilities,

recent RFQ to supply the Westchester NY
Police Department with rapid deployment,
9mm carbines. B&T USA’s LE Division won
the contract with the integrally suppressed
APC9-SD Carbine equipped with Glock lower
receivers.
Compact, lightweight and reliable, the APC9
carbines have been proven with countless
European Law Enforcement agencies. Th e
integrally suppressed APC9-SD models being
supplied to the Westchester PD allow the
Department to use its existing Glock magazines
without the need to purchase any additional.
B&T USA was awarded the contract by
being able to deliver the 14 weapons within the
specifi ed 60-day requirement.
