MADCAT BELLY BOAT POWERS ON
Aft er the success of MADCAT’s first Belly Boat, the specialist catfish tackle manufacturer has
taken it a step further, teaming up with Dutch firm Float Plus to make it power-ready.
The MADCAT Float Plus
Ready (FPR) Belly Boat is
completely designed and
prepared for a Float Plus
trolling engine.
It has an infl atable bottom
that incorporates a special
hole for a power cable and
has a special Float Plus
engine mount.
The advantage of this is
that the boat fl oats higher
in the water, enabling easy
steering, which won’t drain
the battery. The MADCAT
FPR belly boat is also 10cm
longer than the original
170cm version, offering more
buoyancy and stability.
Thanks to its extra length,
there is more space for
accessories such as a fi sh
fi nder, camera, small table
and rod rests. The belly boat
has been made using the
highest quality, 0.70mm
thick PVC material available,
enabling MADCAT to keep
its weight below 12.5kg.
The carry straps have extra
strong clips and Smart carry
straps are located on the
inside.
FLOAT PLUS PRO SYSTEM
The Float Plus PRO System
is made up of a Float Plus
25lb trolling engine complete
with a fl oating, wireless,
full colour LCD remote and
a powerful 12 Volt, 41,6Ah
LG lithium-ion battery in a
waterproof protection case
with charger
It will easily propel the
MADCAT FPR Belly Boat up
to a maximum of 5km/h and

will last from six to 20 hours
depending on driving speed.
The Float Plus PRO System
is not included, however it
can be purchased separately

and evidently curious catfi sh
swam up to the paddles and,

watch how it was feeling
