for almost 40 years. TTW finds out more about the rise of the brand and its current operation.
Lineaeffe is headquartered in San
Pietro in Casale near Bologna in the
north of Italy and was founded 38
years ago by Franco Ferrari.
It specialises in the sale of fi shing
tackle across many different disciplines
including coarse, sea, carp fi shing and
predator fi shing.
Each year the company is growing
and, with the diversifi cation of its sales
territory, Lineaeffe now exports its
products to many different countries.
With numerous tackle brands being
created by the owners, Lineaeffe has
now become the sole distributor of the
Nomura predator fi shing brand across
the whole of Europe.

Since the beginning, the company’s
experience has grown and it has
become one of the most important
Italian fi shing tackle brands. Today,
Lineaeffe exports its products all over
the world to a point where it is as much
appreciated in Europe as it is America
and in Africa.
The company’s exports cover 55
per cent of its actual turnover. By
continually holding high stock levels of
popular products, it can easily satisfy
the high demands from customers
and, by partnering with key global
distributors, upcoming and long trends
