Regael is a name you may well have heard of recently. Expanding out of Dublin and into
the UK, it is one of the UK’s fastest growing wholesalers. Take a look at its website and you
can see why. It represents some very well-known brands, together with some exciting new
ones – Norica, Ek, Proshot, Zbroia, Apolo, Ri e airgun ammunition, AGT, Explorer Group and
Woody’s, with several more names in the pipeline.
What distinguishes Regael from
the crowd is some of the services
it provides. It has no minimum
order quantities, o ers next-day delivery at
good margins,while providing a drop-shipping
service direct to your customer, under plain
label. When asked about this service, Sue
Chapman of Regael revealed: “We see the
drop-shipping service as one of Regael’s main
strengths. Along with our ‘no minimum order’
policy it means that, for example, a retailer
doesn’t have to tie up their hard-earned cash
buying every version of a product and holding
it in stock.
“If a customer visits one and really likes a
crossbow – the new R9 from Ek, for example,

- but says that they would have preferred the
‘more powerful version’, the retailer can rescue
that sale by either o ering to get it delivered to
the shop the next day, or alternatively directly
to the customer.
“ e retailer then processes the order and
takes the customer’s payment, logs onto its
account on www.regael.com, places the order,
puts in the customer’s address as the delivery
address, ticks a box saying it is a drop-ship
order and pays.
“We then send it the tracking number just
in case but otherwise take care of the whole
process. is is absolutely tailor-made for
retailers with a good internet presence, they
never need to hold much stock at all. ey
simply put all of the products we sell onto their
websites; if they make a sale they place a dropshipping
order with us.
“How easy does that make it to run your
retail business? You can devote your time to
promoting your business, rather than picking,
packing and shipping, and enjoy your pro ts
rather than tying them up in unwanted stock.”
With new Proshot products being added
to the website recently such as the Proshot
Precision scopes, plastic BBs for the airsoft
market and a range of top end pellets (‘Proshot
Precision Premium’ arriving shortly) it is
continuing to expand itso ering almost on a
weekly basis. “ e Proshot Precision Premium
range is aimed at bringing Olympic quality
pellets to the mass market at a very a ordable
price,” said Sue.
“For the same cost as a ‘good’ tin of pellets,
it wants you to be able to buy pellets good
enough to take on the best of the rest.
“We also have an exciting ‘new’ old brand
which will be being re-launched next year,”
added Sue. “What I mean by that is the
company used to trade in the mid 1800s
and has been resurrected and is starting to
manufacture again, we will be the rst to
distribute the products and we’re looking
forward to bringing them to the mass market.
“We currently ship to many countries
worldwide and have some strategic partners
around the world but are looking to strengthen
our presence in the USA in the next couple
of years. We see the resurrected brand I
mentioned above as being a signi cant brand
in the USA in the coming years.”
Having recently expanded into new
warehouses in the UK, Regael obviously has
further plans for expansion so keep an eye on
these guys, they could be about to change the
way we do business in the future.
