Later, Fausti was named Knight Offi cer of the Republic,
an important recognition for those who, out of nowhere,
have managed to create a luxury brand and therefore to
ensure work and employment to the regions people.
His guns, thanks to participation in the fi rst and most
important international exhibitions in the fi eld, became
true ambassadors for creativity and the art of Italian gun
making. Some of those models such as the Classic, an
external hammer gun, and the Senator side-lock, are still
in today’s catalogue. Th is goes to show just how iconic and
impressive these classic guns are.

In recent decades, a key challenge for gun makers
around the world has been how to successfully embrace
state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, while still

Th e secret of Fausti’s success is balancing the best of

‘show’. Behind their elegant lines, whether it’s one of
the company’s production or bespoke models, all Fausti
shotguns incorporate a full range of top quality, machined
components. Over and under models also include Fausti’s
patented Four Locking System; in essence, four retaining
points between the barrel frame and action instead of the
traditional two. Fausti is also renowned for its scaled frame
small gauge, a true standout in its class.
In 2009, Fausti established Fausti USA and launched
the Fausti brand all over the United States with the
creation of models designed specifi cally for the American
market. Recently, Fausti UK also opened, to serve the
English market, one of the most challenging markets in
the bespoke gun world. Th e direct relationship with the
customer is one of the keys to Fausti’s success, linked to the

keen to get involved in the family business history.
