The laser engraving designed for this series is
greatly enhanced by the traditional game scene
inlayed in gold. The differences between the
two models are minimal and practically linked almost
exclusively to the long profile side-plates.
Fausti chose a beautiful colour scheme for the
Class LX-SLX series.
“It is truly pleasant to observe the nuances of
colour that the metal assumes according to the
light. It’s a very stylish design solution for both the
models.,” says general manager, Barbara Fausti.
The remaining parts of the gun, such as the iron
forend and the top-lever are finished in a stylish blue.
The trigger guard is very well designed for field use,
it’s easy to shoot, making it a great choice for those
hunters that like to wear gloves.
The top-lever, crossed by a light engraving is a
pierced one, with four elegant holes and it is activated
by the finger. On the frame tang there is the safe
cursor that guide also the selection of the barrel
chosen for the shoot.
The wood for both the Class LX and SLX is
grade two Turkish walnut, with a very nice Prince of
Wales pistol grip, finished with oil and hand-made
checkering for a comfortable grip. The rubber red pad
completes the wood finishing.
The round English type forend features the
elongated “auget” for an easy assembly and
disassembly of the part from the barrel. Barrels are
available from 60mm in length to 76mm with fixed
or interchangeable chokes. They feature a ventilated
6mm type rib, a matt-finish for better pointing,
spherical brass sight and a functional and reliable
automatic ejector system.
Fausti is very well known for its experience in the
ballistic field: the particular internal geometry of
its barrels guarantees memorable performance for
hunting and sporting clay shooting.
When speaking of Fausti we should also talk
about the company’s patented “Four Locks System”,
a locking system characterized by a double pair of
lugs that makes the gun safer and increases the life
expectancy of the shotgun, particularly compared to
mass made shotguns on the market.
The opening and the closing of the Class LX
-SLX is soft and precise. The mechanism features a
single selective trigger with crisp trigger release, the
firepins are made of a special steel that is made to last
forever.
