B. 1860 Eley introduce the breech loading pin fire cartridge shell.
C. 1898 Eley wins awards with the Pegamoid at the Paris exhibition.
D. 1903 The Grand Prix cartridge is launched following the awards in Paris.
E. 1924 Eley introduce the first special trap shooting cartridge to respond to the rise of clay trap shooting.
F. 1930 opening in Old Bond Street of the first factory.
G. 1933 Eley pioneers the first plastic shotgun cartridge.
H. 1959 The Eley Kleena fibre-based wad starts its life and is a unique development in cartridges as it cleans out the leading in
shotgun barrels when fired.
I. 1987 Eley Ltd purchases Hawk Best Ammunition and moves production from Witt on to Marchington.
J. 2017 Eley Hawk wins the Shooting Industry Award to the Best Game Cartridge for their Zenith Copper Game Cartridge.
K. 2018 Eley Hawk becomes the first British manufacturer to launch nickel coated lead shot in the clay market with the
Titanium Strike.

it became vertically integrated in 1912. Th is results in
the highest control over the quality of the products,

traditional British roots to become one of the most
global players in the industry. It currently sells close
to 100 million shotgun cartridges a year to over 40
countries, including Germany, Sweden, Denmark and
