LAUNCHES ARCHERY PRO
STAFF PROGRAM
Meopta USA Sport Optics has
begun a new archery pro staff
program. Led by professional
archer, Chris Berry, the Meopta
Pro Staff Program is recruiting
passionate archers from
throughout the United States
who appreciate the importance
of world-class optics in the
fi eld and on the range.
“We look forward to
introducing Meopta binoculars
and spotting scopes into the
competitive archery circuits
and into the world of archery
hunting as we build out our
team of brand ambassadors,”
said Chris Berry, Meopta
Archery pro staff manager.
“We are looking for both
professional and amateur
archers who want the best
optics in the world, so they can
see their targets in vivid detail
in the fi eld and on the range.”
Berry is responsible for
overall management of the
pro staff including program
inquiries and recruitment.

Otis Technology has made three recent
promotions within its sales and marketing
teams. Francis Devlin has been promoted to
vice president of business development, Tom
Knudtson to director of commercial sales and
Heather Pleskach to director of marketing.
Frank Devlin joined Otis in 2011 as a
key account manager where he was quickly
promoted to national sales manager. In 2015,
Frank was promoted to director of commercial
sales where he oversaw a team of regional sales
managers. An Otis spokesperson explained
that:“Frank has been instrumental in the
company’s commercial sales growth and in
his new role as vice president of business
development he will be responsible for
cultivating relationships and developing new
opportunities for the organisation.”
Tom Knudtson has been with Otis
Technology for four years as a sales manager,
responsible for the Central US region. “He
brought with him over 30 years of experience in
sales and product development in the shooting
sports industry and his extensive knowledge
quickly became apparent,” said an Otis
spokesperson. “He has demonstrated excellence
in all market channels in the shooting sports
industry.”
In his new role as director of commercial
sales, he will be responsible for driving the
sales strategy for the sporting goods side of the
business.
Heather (Bennett) Pleskach joined Otis in
2008 as a marketing associate. Over the last
decade, she has held ever increasing roles within
the marketing department including marketing
manager and most recently associate director
of marketing. In her new role as director of
marketing, she will continue to drive the
marketing strategy for the brand and will also
oversee the marketing, graphics and customer
service/inside sales teams. She sits on the board
for the Women’s Outdoor Media Association
and in 2017 she was named one of NNY
Business magazine’s Top 20 Under 40. “We are
very excited about Frank, Tom and Heather’s
new roles and I am confi dent they will continue
to elevate the Otis brand in their sales and
marketing eff orts,” stated Larry Williams, Otis
Technology’s Chief Executive Offi cer.
He continued: “Th eir leadership has helped
position Otis as a premium American brand
in the gun maintenance sector. We have a
fantastic team and I look forward to seeing
their continued successes in their new roles.
Th eir strategic thinking will be instrumental in
the future growth of our company.”
