NEW CEO AT BLASER
About
For over 60 years now, Blaser Jagdwaff en
has been developing and manufacturing
innovative hunting rifl es with an
uncompromising commitment to quality
in the German town of Isny im Allgäu.
Inspiration for Blaser’s innovations comes
from the direct experience of avid hunters.
With the appointment of Dirk Stöver,
Blaser has yet again employed an
enthusiastic hunter as CEO. He has been a
hunter since 1985. “Of course, this position
is especially attractive for a hunter,” says
Stöver, “however, the managerial challenges
of strengthening and ensuring the long-term
market leadership are at least as enthralling.”
Stöver acquired the necessary knowhow
during his time as the CEO of the
Remondis group. As a mechanical engineer,
he has a solid technical knowledge at his
disposal, and in his previous position, was
responsible for over 250 million EUR in
sales. Blaser Group CEO, Michael Lüke
is pleased: “With Dirk Stöver we have an
active hunter on board, who as a result
of his experience has all the necessary
requirements at his disposal to realise
additional sales potential.”
